What should I be doing?
You can start with no contact with your wife at all. Sounds silly but it works great. Use the time to get your emotions under control.

This list could be way long! Do not in any way pester your ex. Calling, texting, following or god forbid, stalking your ex is a big no no.
Drinking heavily will not help and could lead to further depression. As will any form of drugs. Any of these stupid moves can kill your chances of getting back together for good. At worst they could get you into trouble with the law.
You need to make sure you don’t wreck what chances you do have. If you blow it with a stupid move then any plan you have is worthless. You could easily see your plans in tatters.
